Requirements

Before installing PrimeChat, ensure your server meets the following requirements:

  • Minecraft Server: Spigot, Paper, or compatible fork

  • Version: 1.19+ (API version 1.19)

  • Java: Java 8 or higher

Soft Dependencies

While not required, these plugins enhance PrimeChat's functionality:

  • PlaceholderAPI: For placeholder support in chat formats and messages

  • Vault: For economy and permission integration

Installation Steps

  1. Purchase PrimeChat for £14.99 GBP from the official source

  2. Download the PrimeChat plugin file after purchase

  3. Stop your Minecraft server

  4. Upload the PrimeChat.jar file to your plugins/ directory

  5. Start your server

  6. The plugin will automatically generate default configuration files

Post-Installation

After installation, PrimeChat will create the following files in plugins/PrimeChat/:

  • config.yml - Main plugin configuration

  • messages.yml - All plugin messages

  • gui.yml - Admin GUI configuration

  • chatgames.yml - Chat games configuration

  • sounds.yml - Sound effects configuration

Verification

To verify PrimeChat is installed correctly:

  1. Run /plugins in console or in-game

  2. Look for "PrimeChat" in green text

  3. Test with /chat help command
